my name is meg rooks and i live in portland, me. i'm a once-and-future librarian, mom of jane, age 9, and charlie, age 6. i'm a big fan of decoupage, sewing, knitting, rug-hooking, glue-gunning, yard-saling, web-surfing, movie-watching, cookie-baking, etsy-shopping, re-cycling, you-tubing, book-reading, magazine-perusing, road-tripping, beach-combing, and picture-taking. i am very nostalgic and love vintage stuff...childrens' books, fisher-price, kitchenware, salt-n-pepper shakers, tupperware, eastern european folk, mid-century, and danish modern design....and lots of other stuff.
