i've been tagged by several people (most recently by dawn) for 8 things about me but i'm really running out of stuff about me. i feel like i need to start a new category for blog entries "me! me! me! all about me!" or something like that. and yet it's like a dare; i can't back down. how about some favorites this time?

  3. favorite movies it's a wonderful life :: the deer hunter :: dr. zhivago :: everything by wes anderson ::  lost in translation :: american beauty :: harold and maude (i know that's everyone's favorite but it's mine, too) :: little miss sunshine :: princess bride :: love actually :: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

that car in the background is pretty much to die for.

The car! What a great picture. Makes me really date myself when I look at all those old photos. And the lucky charms below look great just about now.

i love all these hmmm shall we say vintage (..not old, nooo way) photos you have been using lately. makes me want to dig out all my moms albums.

we share all the same guilty pleasures.

I've been scanning in old photos myself lately. Aren't they fun?

analyzing the shit out of everything...that's my top favorite guilty pleasure although until this post I actually put it in a completely different category...thanks for sharing and I don't know what you are talking about. There is always MORE to share. :) xo
Fall is the BEST season ever, ever!!! I love that photo so much. oxo You rock Meg!!!!!

Oh my god...I love that you classified "Maudlin" as a genre of music.

You are pretty great, Meg Rooks. ;)

Ok, why have I've never seen this picture before??? You need to scan it for me or bring it this weekend....please..
and who are the two other girls?

from the mixed up files of mrs. basil e frankweiler ROCKS! not only did my brother and I read it, we owned a tape recording that was probably worn out from so much play!

No Raising Arizona? I imagined you as a R.A. type of girl. ;)

white noise! I can't believe that you also love this book. I think you are one of the only people I know who has read this book aside from me. There is just something about it that makes me want to read all of his work (which I have almost done)...

That said I love getting to know you a little better.

so fun, we could hang out and eat favorites, and listen to favorites, and watch favorites together and have a grand time as many of the faves are on my list too!

good to get back in the groove of blog catch up & see what everyone has been up to...

I rented Harold and Maude tonight, on your recommendation alone. I'd never even heard of it, and the Blockbuster guy gave me a really snarky look when I asked if they had a copy of, "Henry and Maude". I will now devote 2 hours of post bedtime freedom to movie watching. I'm holding you personally responsible. :-)

Viva La K-tel!

it's so fun to read this! I could have written about 90 percent of this myself. :)

With you 100% on numbers 6 and 7, and 90% on everything else!

a tree grows in brooklyn will always always always be my favorite book. and i have a first edition (squee)

what, no elliott smith? now you just KNOW he's on emo-zach's ipod, honey :)

I just love that car in the background. Is that a Datsun? Is it still in the family? Your family has good car style. (My husband is in racing so I think his car awareness has rubbed off on me).

You rock. :)
