oh hi

jen told me to update my blog because she was bored. i'm not sure if this post will improve her situation, but i always do what she says.
i've got nothing exciting to report. it's post-holiday and things are pretty mellow. here's some stuff i'm digging these days...
- my new macbook (has barely left my side since christmas - it' s becoming an issue)
- playing scrabulous with my sisters and aunt (on the macbook)
- i've got a thing for this band these days
- checking out some new (to me) book-lover-sites (again with the macbook)
- playing in the crazy amount of snow we have here. it's really pretty out these days...
remind me of this when it's march and i'm hiding under my dining room table with a bottle of jim beam while my kids watch "family guy".
just kidding.
(nervous laughter)
hey! maybe i'll do something crafty this weekend!
and maybe i'll post about it next week!
chat with you then.
My bloglines has been really quiet since Christmas, it's just the time of year and I appreciate that people have better things to do than update their blogs but I want to read crafty things!
I'm crazy jealous of your snow. We got a couple of inches in Scotland last night but it's all gone again.

That band sounds super and I have never heard of them. I wish we had snow...it's gloomy here...dark...damp...grey and rainy...wet...moldy...I am sick of it.
I have Mac Envy...I need to update my blog big time...you have inspired me...maybe tomorrow. xoxo :)

you're awesome, meg. Thank you. I'm bored too. It's gonna be a loooooooong ass winter. I'm kinda scared about February. Yikes.
Get crafting! Or sleeping. Or whatever we do to get on through this month. ;) My plan involves a lot of whiskey. Good times.

we've been snowed in VT for some time now too but this week threatens a rushing thaw. let's hope it's not an early "mud season." and i'm kind of partial to the paper on the larger suitcase. we used it for our wedding invites :) love the precarious stack...

i'll bring my jameson and and can we add a chaser of king of the hill?
thx
i can't even say scrabulous without the husband going into a panic. "you're not going to play that ALL DAY ARE YOU?"
beats being under the table, i say.

I was laughing at your post and my husband walked by and said what is so funny. I read him the Jim Beam part and he laughed too. January just does that to you, ugh. i have enjoyed your posts & i do love the picure of guitars and suitcases. What room is that in? and oh, scrabulous sounds fun and im sure will be a new time sucker:)

I'm the mother of two little ones and I keep a bottle of Jack waaaaaaay up high in the back back back of the shelf. It's called survival---as, I too, laugh nervously.
