as much as i love commiserating with you about this god-awful month, i think i need to move on. our vacation week is almost over, and there have been some nice highlights...sibling harmony...cool lunar eclipse...fun craft time w/friends...stuff like that.
anyway, my friend julia is inviting people to join her next week in posting ideas to get you through the rest of february. my contribution will be this: i recently did a major vintage book purge and thought i'd spread the love. so next week i'm going to be offering up lots of vintage kids books here. serious amounts of book love. and probably some chocolate.
i'm having one of those days were i can't type a decent sentence to save my life plus i have to go pack for a trip to vermont, so i'm going to end here.
hope you have a great weekend.
Sounds fun!

OMG!!!!!!!! Book LOVE!!!!!! That sounds amazing and with chocolate!!!!!!!! Vermont also sounds amazing...don't worry you have not been bitching too much...as a matter of fact it makes me smile super big because this month is hard for me too....it gets VERY GRAY in the NW this time of year. Super depressing. Have a nice trip. :)

If purging vintage stuff includes books and chocolate then it can't be too bad! Not sure I could give either away though!

Hi from the frozen, icy, great white north...Canada!!
I can relate to your February blahs!
I just love the fabric in this photo, also the owl fabric in another photo you have on your blog....both so cheerful. Would you mind telling me what the name of these two fabrics are? They are exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks!!!

That's why I love this blog-- somehow you manage to convey your crabbiness regarding the weather and February (I agree, the WORST month of the year) but still be creative, funny and inspiring. Me, not so much. I have the crab-ass part down pat, but not the rest. I want to crawl into a hole and stay there until April.
Oh, and I also love that you drop the F Bomb on a regular basis. Fuck yeah.
