feeling sunny

it's finally feeling like spring. there's still dirty piles of snow everywhere, but i heard birds singing yesterday and that made me pretty happy. the forsythia haven't bloomed yet, but i'm seeing lots of yellow in blogland and flickrland lately (i'm too lazy to link, but i'm sure you've seen it too). this yellow trunk case is yet another way-late swap i'm finally tackling. i'm hoping to make some stuff for my etsy shop in the near future, too.
thank you for all the advice on orthodontia. i'd always heard how expensive that kind of stuff was but *wow*. i wasted some serious time the other night google-imaging attractive adults with underbites. which led me to pat benatar. which led me to yet another flashback video.
pat benatar was the shiznit.
My eight year old has several adult teeth missing (never formed). We were instructed to get her to an orthodontist soon and understand that she would be seeing said orthodontist regularly, for many years to come. Yikes.

I am scared of the expense of braces. My husband needs them, and I'm sure both of my girls will need them. I had them, but need them again (TMJ problems after braces messed everything up). Blah.

my sis ended up having to have braces again in her late 30's because her teeth moved so much. This time they installed a permanent retainer behind her teeth and they haven't budged. She still says having her teeth straightened was worth the expense.
Hope everything goes well with your little one.
That Benatar video...I never realized how much the bar scene with all the dancers reminds me of Thriller.
