first day of spring my ass

it's gloomy inside and out and we are all home sick. again. but we're cozy with lots of quilts and pillows and spongebob videos and ben & jerry's and my laptop and scrabble friends.
it would be mr. roger's 80th birthday today (thanks for the link, liz).
and these have to be the fugliest shoes ever.
that's all i got. if you're sick too, i hope you're better soon. if you're not sick, start chugging your vitamins. it's headed your way.
xoxo
I'm pretty sure this is the longest winter ever. Hope you feel better soon - and stay well for a long time to come!

That looks like my sink. Really, not just in a dirty dishes way, but we have that coffee pot, the sauce pan (diff. color) and varies vintage drinking glasses. And the empty beer that just can't make it the last two feet into the recycling.
I work up feeling sick today. arggg.

ha! I'm totally laughing my ass of at the juxtaposition of our posts today. Uh, yeah...I'm in full denial of the reality.
I hope you're feeling better! We're battling it over here too...Ugh.

Did you notice the color of the fugly shoes? "Beef and Broccoli". Barf.
I heard somewhere that everyone is supposed to wear a sweater today in honor of Mr. Rogers.
Feel better soon-- I hope I don't get it again. I have had the gack 3 times since November. xo

oy, those shoes ARE fugly. did you see that the color scheme was called "beef and broccoli"? hilarious.
on your sick day, i suggest you surf around youtube for some songs from The Mighty Boosh. we are newly obsessed with that show. very funny. at least we think so.
hope you feel better soon.

feel better! I feel the crud coming on too, but I do have the benefit of 80 degrees and sunshine, so hopefully that will bake it right out of my system. Enjoy your day of Spongebob - my kids would be envious, sickness or not.

Those shoes are hilarious. High-heeled duck boots? Who thought of that in a creative meeting somewhere? And who said, "Yeah, great idea. Let's do it!"?
I hope you feel better soon.

Ahhhh, Mr Rogers. Do you remember Hodge Podge Lodge? Am I the only one that old? I think our kids could use a little more shows like that...And the shoes WHHAAAAAA who buys stuff like that -- what's with the heel?...and, sorry you are sick that really sucks. I hope you feel better soon.

Boy, I was sick but now I'm better and I am so thankful for my health now! Yuck, the illnesses that are passing around this winter are horrible... Be well soon.

Aw, I hope you all are feeling better (and warmer) soon. And, yes, those are some ugly shoes.

I like the shoe review that says "all my female friends exclaim over their looks!" Exclaim in HORROR, maybe.

I feel your pain. Who's idea was it to celebrate Easter in March? Easter bonnets and dresses, ha! More like long underwear, winter coats and wool hats.
I don't know how but a crocus has managed to peak out of our frigid tundra.
Sick here, too, influenza going on two weeks.
C'mon spring!

Anyone who posts a photo of dishes in the sink is aces with me! Hope you feel better soon. And we know your good taste is still intact - those shoes are all kinds of criminal!
